How orders ship, and the fine print
Every plant here is a single, living specimen — not stock from a warehouse — so a few things work differently than a normal parcel. Here's exactly what to expect.
Where we ship
Within Sweden, and across the rest of the EU. Every destination we offer at checkout is an EU member state, so there's no customs process or import duty on your order.
Pricing & VAT
Swedish VAT (25%) is collected on all purchases, regardless of destination, and is already included in the prices shown — the amount is broken out for you at checkout.
Dispatch schedule
Orders are shipped once a week, every Monday, so parcels don't sit in transit over a weekend. Place your order by Sunday 15:00 CEST to make that week's shipment — right now, that means Monday, 21 Sep. Orders placed after the cutoff go out the following Monday. In severe cold or heat, dispatch for a given week may be held back a few days to protect the plant in transit — we'll always get it moving as soon as it's safe to.
Carriers
PostNord Ombud or Brevlåda within Sweden; UPS or UPS Express across the rest of the EU — whichever you choose at checkout. Transit time from dispatch depends on your destination and the service selected; UPS Express is the fastest option where speed matters most.
Packing & heat packs
I have several years of experience packing plants for delivery to all parts of Europe, in high summer and in the middle of winter alike, and every parcel is packed accordingly: materials chosen for the plant, the distance and the weather it will travel through, with a heat pack included at no extra cost whenever the forecast calls for one. It's normal for a leaf or two to yellow in the first couple of weeks after arrival — see the care page for what to expect and when to actually worry.
One-of-a-kind plants & reservations
Every listing is a single specimen, not a SKU with more coming — once it's sold, it's gone. Placing an order holds that plant for you while you pay: 20 minutes for Swish or PayPal, or 48 hours for bank transfer. If payment isn't completed in time, the hold is released, the order is cancelled, and the plant goes back on sale.
Cancellations
Get in touch as soon as possible if you need to cancel — we can do it any time before your order ships. Once it's on its way, it can no longer be cancelled.
Delivery address
Please double-check your address at checkout — we ship to exactly what's entered. If a parcel is returned to us as undeliverable or refused, we'll cover the cost of one reshipment; return shipping and any further attempts may be charged.
Arrival guarantee — damage or loss
If your plant arrives damaged or doesn't arrive at all, let us know within 48 hours of delivery with a few photos, and we'll sort out a replacement or a refund. This covers breakage and transit damage — the odd yellowing leaf from the journey (see Packing, above) isn't covered, as it's expected and temporary.
Returns
As live, perishable goods, plants aren't covered by a general right of return or the standard EU 14-day cooling-off period — the arrival guarantee above is what protects you instead. We don't accept returns for a change of mind once an order has shipped.
Plant health
Plants are grown and shipped in line with applicable EU plant health rules for intra-EU movement.
Your data
The name, address and contact details you give at checkout are used to fulfil your order and nothing else — no marketing, no tracking, no passing them on. The privacy policy sets out exactly what's collected, who it reaches and how long it's kept.
